Celebrating a Powerful Pitch Night with Infuse Tucson!
After 9 months of meeting together and working on their missional business ideas, three participants from our Infuse Tucson cohort presented their final plans to an enthusiastic crowd of friends and family in downtown Tucson. There was celebratory energy in the room as each participant shared their vision for how business can be used as a force for good in our city and beyond.
Alex & Shannon presented Project Wayfarers, a program to support refugees through business, mentorship, and building connections;
Justin presenting Reason Solutions and Harper Furnishings, offering residential contracting and custom/high-end craftsman furniture & woodworking, both inspired by his daughter;
Kaylah presented The Wind Studio = A 2D animation studio for faith-based storytelling
And we were also able to share updates on the additional three cohort members who were not able to present during Pitch Night. These participants completed the cohort and are eligible to Pitch at next year’s event.
Pam is working with national organizations to develop a gamified service App to establish a new category for virtual and IRL giving and service opportunities..
Christian is envisioning a youth basketball league, using sports as a mechanism to focus on character building and life coaching
Rebecca, while still focusing on her studies at the University of Arizona, has been dreaming and growing Global One Voice Empowerment Network, a web-based networking site for idea resourcing and empowerment.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Infuse awarded $5,500 in seed funding to help this year's cohort take their concepts to the next level. These funds represent not just financial support, but belief in the passion, purpose, and potential of each entrepreneur.
We're thrilled to officially welcome these leaders into the Infuse Alumni community. As they move forward, we look forward to continued collaboration, mutual learning, and supporting one another in the work of building businesses with impact.
